Terms and Conditions

AAE Venue Hire Terms & Conditions (Summary) Access Regular Hirers receive the key safe code before first hire (once payment is made). Ad-hoc Hirers are given access by staff; after-hours access is via code. Alcohol BYO alcohol permitted; no sales unless approved and licensed. Responsible service and adherence to legislation is required. Catering The venue is self-catering with no cooking facilities. Food trucks and BBQs (outdoor use only) are permitted. Cleaning Hirers must clean before leaving. Cleaning products are supplied. Waste must be bagged. Overflow rubbish must be taken home. Chairs and tables must be cleaned and stored properly. Decorations No balloon releases, powder bombs, glitter, or confetti. Balloons must be tied down and removed post-event. Decorations must not damage property and must be removed after use. Smoking/Vaping Prohibited inside and within 5m of entrances/windows, including e-cigarettes. Damage, Bonds & Security Hirer is liable for any damage or loss. Bond may be charged at AAE’s discretion; refunded after inspection (up to 5 business days). If damage exceeds bond, additional charges apply. Hirer is responsible for securing the venue and any lost/stolen keys. Insurance Regular Hirers must provide Public Liability Insurance ($10M min) + exclusions. Casual Hirers (one-off events) are exempt. Exclusion of Liability AAE is not liable for injury, loss, or damage unless due to AAE's wilful act. No liability for electrical faults or equipment failure. Permits & Licenses Hirer must obtain any necessary permits, licenses or approvals. Event must comply with all relevant laws and regulations. Purpose of Hire Venue must be used only for the declared purpose. Hirer is responsible for attendee conduct. No disruptive, unlawful, or inappropriate activities. Waste & Rubbish Internal bins must be emptied; waste must be bagged. Excess waste must be taken home if external bins are full. Audio & Equipment Bluetooth speaker available. Towels must be placed under eskies. No naked flames allowed. Cancellations Full refund if cancelled ≥3 business days prior. No refund if <3 business days notice. AAE may cancel bookings for breaches, maintenance, safety, or emergencies. Payments Casual Hires: Full payment due within 48 hours or booking is cancelled. Regular Hires: Charged monthly in advance. Access is revoked after 30 days unpaid; future bookings cancelled after 90 days unpaid. Right of Entry AAE reserves the right to enter the venue at any time. Breach of Terms Breach may result in immediate cancellation of the booking with no refund.
